If you often give your logo to other designers, such as for advertising, print layouts. Then it's better to have a set of rules, that way the designer won't mess up your logo when working with it.

I have professional principles. That's why I don't work with such areas: cigarettes, alcohol, gambling, politics. I am a responsible designer.
