Ran Google Ads campaigns for local service businesses in the USA and Canada, mainly dental and medical practices, law firms, automotive businesses and real estate. The goal was always the same: consistent, qualified leads instead of occasional spikes in calls. Every engagement started with a website and account audit, followed by keyword research built around high-intent search terms, the phrases people type when they're ready to book, not just browsing. From there, I handled full campaign setup: Search and Performance Max builds, ad copy and extensions, location and radius targeting, audience layering, and negative keyword lists to cut wasted spend on job seekers and DIY searches. Tracking was a core part of the work. I implemented both browser-side and server-side tracking through Google Tag Manager and GA4, set up call tracking and form conversion events, and made sure every lead was attributed to the right campaign and keyword. Without accurate tracking, optimization is guesswork, so this always came before scaling budgets. Ongoing management included weekly search term reviews, bid and budget adjustments, ad testing, and landing page recommendations to improve conversion rates. I reported results in plain language, showing clients which keywords actually produced booked appointments and cases rather than just clicks and impressions.
