I work as an independent German book editor and proofreader, helping authors improve their manuscripts from early drafts to polished, publication ready books. My work focuses on accurate proofreading, detailed language editing, and sentence level refinement tailored to each author's needs. I review manuscripts for spelling, grammar, punctuation, sentence structure, wording, clarity, consistency, style, tone, and readability. I also identify awkward or repetitive phrasing and refine passages that may interrupt the reading experience. A key part of my approach is preserving the author's unique voice.
