Responsible for conducting outside plant (OSP) and inside plant (ISP) surveys and design for FTTx (FTTB, FTTH, FTTS) projects. • Providing solutions on mode of fiber cable deployment either underground or overhead based on the nature and situations at sites where fiber need to be deployed. • Producing high level designs (HLD) on Google Earth for proposed FTTx project to depict intended solution and to estimate the cost of the project. • Coming up with low level designs (LLD) on approved solutions as well as generating BOQs/BOMs. • Offering guidance during implementation of FTTx projects to ensure everything on design is adhered to. • Performing GIS analysis to identify potential estates to deploy FTTH network. • Capturing redlines on site after implementation to aid in generation of as-built. • Updating CAD as-built (route map and fiber distribution diagrams) and documentation of built network and creating database on MapInfo, Lepton, QGIS, ArcGIS and Google Earths. • Tackling variation designs in case of any deployment challenges occurring at site.
