Zoho CRM and Books Automation Consultant
Independent • Freelance
Apr 2023 - Present • 3 yrs 6 mos
I help French businesses connect Zoho CRM and Zoho Books so sales information can move into quoting and invoicing workflows with less manual re-entry. My responsibilities include reviewing the current sales-to-finance process, identifying the source of truth for customer and billing data, mapping accounts, contacts, products, services, prices, discounts, currencies, VAT fields, SIRET information, and payment terms. I configure or troubleshoot deal-to-quote, deal-to-estimate, and deal-to-invoice workflows. I also review approval steps and help ensure that records are checked before documents are created or sent. For Zoho Books France Edition, I pay particular attention to the Draft, Open, and Send invoice sequence. I investigate duplicate customers, unmatched products, missing billing fields, incorrect totals, failed synchronization, and workflows that stop after a France Edition migration. I use sample records and controlled testing to validate the process before handover. I create practical process notes so sales and finance teams understand what happens at each stage. My work is technical and does not include tax, accounting, legal, or DGFiP advice.

Zoho Books France E-Invoicing Consultant
Feb 2021 - Present • 5 yrs 8 mos
I help French businesses prepare and troubleshoot Zoho Books France Edition for electronic invoicing workflows. My work includes reviewing organization information, SIREN and SIRET fields, VAT details, customer records, invoice templates, transaction numbering, payment information, and required invoice data. I investigate failed or rejected invoice statuses and identify issues involving missing fields, incorrect routing information, incomplete buyer details, invalid tax mapping, or inconsistent invoice totals. I also help businesses connect Zoho Books with B2Brouter for agreed outgoing and incoming invoice workflows. This includes reviewing provider authorization, selecting the transaction flow, testing sample invoices, checking lifecycle statuses, and documenting unresolved items for the client’s accountant or adviser. For France Edition migrations, I review custom field mappings, customer data, invoice automation, CRM synchronization, and the Draft to Open to Send sequence. I test whether invoices are created correctly and whether the intended workflow continues after migration. My role is technical and process-focused. I do not provide legal, accounting, tax, or DGFiP filing advice. Clients and their advisers remain responsible for confirming regulatory requirements and tax treatment.
Zoho CRM Privacy and GDPR Configuration Consultant
Feb 2021 - Present • 5 yrs 8 mos
I help French and European businesses configure practical privacy workflows inside Zoho CRM. My work focuses on turning approved privacy policies into usable CRM fields, views, workflows, and team processes. I configure consent status, consent date, collection source, privacy-notice version, lawful basis, communication preferences, withdrawal status, retention-review dates, and data-request tracking. I can help separate communication preferences for email, SMS, phone calls, and marketing activity. I also review web-form settings and double opt-in workflows where supported, then test how new records enter the CRM. For existing databases, I identify missing privacy fields, inconsistent consent values, outdated records, duplicate contacts, and records requiring review. I can create views and reminders that help teams find contacts approaching a retention-review date or awaiting a privacy action. I also review basic role permissions and document how sales staff should update consent and communication preferences. The goal is a clearer operational process that staff can follow. My role is technical configuration and data organization. I do not provide legal advice, CNIL certification, or a guarantee of GDPR compliance. The client’s privacy adviser or legal team remains responsible for lawful basis, retention periods, notices, and final compliance decisions.
