Returning to work at the University of Liverpool my primary goal is to synthesis and study specific polymers and their properties in order to target various applications from medical devices to rheology modifiers. I am also part of a team which supervises a PhD student giving them guidance and support to achieve their doctorate. I am expected to report my findings in reports, presentations and meetings frequently throughout each month. Collaboration is key in this industry so I am skilled in team working and communication with industry partners.

Here I was responsible for printing orders and helping fullfil these within a team. I was also responsible for handling returns and communicating with my manager to solve problems, help with stock taken and manage team lunches. I was expected to use Slack to communicate with remote workers to solve problems with orders, chase order updates and attend to special orders for influencers or marketing. I was also responsible for recieving stock and completing stock checks every Friday. Towards the end of my work here I was responsible for creating some marketing videos for TikTok and Instagram whilst fulfilling my other duties also.

My primary goal was to synthesis and study nanoparticle dispersions and their properties in order to target agrochemical applications. Collaboration is key in this industry so I have gained skills in team working and communication with industry partners.
