I write short stories for a living and I know from experience that every independent author has four major questions about their work:

  1. Do I suck my readers in from the very beginning?
  2. Will any part of my story take my readers out of the world I've put them into?
  3. What part of this story will my readers just skim over because it bores the crap out of them?
  4. Will my readers have trouble following my storyline?

My job will be to answer these and questions for you. Over time, I've developed the knack for spotting potential story problems. You will get a first rate assessment of your work from me.
