I worked as a freelance 2D Artist and Animator for a client who needed custom furry character artwork and short animated videos for their YouTube content. The client provided character references and ideas, and my role was to turn those concepts into appealing 2D illustrations and short-form animations that could be used for their channel and social media content. For the character project, I created furry character artwork with attention to the character’s appearance, expressions, proportions, colors, poses, and personality. I used the client’s references and instructions to maintain the important features of the character while developing clean and visually engaging illustrations. The artwork was designed to give the character a consistent visual identity that could be reused across different pieces of content. I also worked on short animated content intended for YouTube Shorts. The goal was to make the videos visually engaging and easy to follow within a short amount of time. I focused on character movement, expressions, timing, scene changes, and presentation so the animation could communicate the idea quickly while keeping the character as the main focus. This type of work helps content creators turn their characters and ideas into memorable visual content. Custom furry artwork can be used for channel branding, thumbnails, social media posts, stories, profile images, and other digital content, while short animations can make characters more expressive and give viewers a reason to stay engaged. Through this project, I developed experience in interpreting references, creating character-focused artwork, preparing illustrations for animation, and adapting visual content for short-form platforms. I understand that every client has a different style and vision, so I focus on following their references and requirements rather than forcing every project into the same artistic approach.
