I will setup google consent mode v2 with GTM and cookie banner
Server side tracking and analytics with Meta CAPI, GTM, GA4 and Consent Mode v2
Informazioni su questo servizio
Google requires Consent Mode v2 for advertisers serving the EEA and UK. Without it, conversion modelling and remarketing quietly stop working in Google Ads and GA4, and your reported data shrinks.
I wire it up properly, not just paste a snippet.
WHAT YOU GET
Consent Mode v2 implemented through Google Tag Manager
Your cookie banner connected so tags actually respect what the visitor clicks
Default and updated consent states set correctly, nothing firing before a choice
GA4, Google Ads and Meta all reading the same consent signal
URL passthrough and conversion modelling enabled
Tested in GTM Preview and GA4 DebugView before delivery
BANNERS I WORK WITH
Cookiebot, CookieYes, Complianz, Iubenda, Termly, Shopify and WooCommerce native banners, or your custom one.
ONE HONEST NOTE
Consent Mode is a technical signal, not legal advice. It does not by itself make you GDPR compliant and I will never tell you otherwise. What it does is make your tags obey consent and keep your Google data modelling.
Send me your website URL before ordering and I will tell you what your current setup is actually doing.

FAQ
What happens if I do not set up Consent Mode v2?
For EEA and UK traffic, Google Ads and GA4 lose conversion modelling and your remarketing audiences stop filling. Google has required it for advertisers serving those regions, so the gap between reported and real conversions only widens over time.
Do I need a cookie banner already?
Not necessarily. Basic assumes you have one and I connect it properly. Standard includes installing and configuring a banner for you, using a free tier where possible so you do not pick up a new monthly cost.
Does this make me GDPR compliant?
No, and be careful of anyone who says it does. Consent Mode is the technical layer that makes your tags respect consent. The legal side, your policy wording and your lawful basis, is for you or your lawyer.
Will my reported numbers drop after this?
They can dip at first, because tags now honour refusals instead of firing regardless. What you gain is Google's conversion modelling filling that gap, plus numbers you can actually defend if anyone asks.
What access do you need from me?
Google Tag Manager admin, GA4 editor, your cookie banner tool or site admin so I can configure it, and Meta Business Manager if you want Meta tags included. An invite is fine, I never need your passwords.
