Working as a Structural Design Engineer, I am responsible for the analysis, design, and assessment of reinforced concrete and steel structures for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. I have successfully delivered multiple projects by ensuring safety, accuracy, and compliance with international design standards such as ACI, AISC, ASCE, and IBC. My core responsibilities include structural modeling, load calculations (dead, live, wind, seismic), member sizing, and preparation of detailed design reports and construction drawings. I specialize in concrete and steel structure design, including PEB sheds, industrial frames, gantry structures, and multi-storey buildings. I have contributed to major projects such as 220/132/11 kV GIS Substation (NTDC), where I was involved in the design of RC buildings, gantry foundations, and steel structures. Additionally, I have designed PEB industrial sheds for leading clients like Haier Pakistan, Mari Energies, and textile industries, ensuring efficient and cost-effective structural solutions. I also perform structural assessment and retrofitting of existing buildings, using techniques such as non-destructive testing (Rebound Hammer & Ferro Scanning) to evaluate structural integrity and recommend strengthening solutions. My expertise extends to connection design, base plate detailing, and fabrication drawings, ensuring designs are practical and ready for execution. Furthermore, I have strong experience in material takeoff and cost estimation, preparing accurate BOQs using PlanSwift and Excel. I utilize industry-standard software including ETABS, STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, SAFE, AutoCAD, Tekla, and Prokon to deliver precise, efficient, and buildable structural solutions.
