I am building Eric Kyuma Analytics as a Business Intelligence consulting practice focused on helping retail businesses improve reporting, KPI visibility, and data-driven decision-making. My work focuses on turning business data into reliable, decision-focused reporting solutions using Microsoft Power BI and Excel. I work across data cleaning and transformation, Power Query, Power Pivot, DAX, data modeling, KPI reporting, data visualization, and dashboard development. My approach begins with understanding the business problem rather than simply building a dashboard. I identify the reporting challenge, define the desired outcome, prepare and analyze the data, develop the reporting solution, communicate the findings, and connect the analysis to practical business decisions. My primary specialization is retail, with additional focus on e-commerce and FMCG. Typical business problems I work on include scattered sales data, manual reporting, inconsistent numbers, limited KPI visibility, difficulty identifying underperforming stores or products, and challenges understanding sales and profitability trends.
