I completed a 3-month industrial internship at Viyellatex Group, one of the leading textile and apparel manufacturers in Bangladesh, where I gained hands-on, end-to-end exposure to the complete textile engineering workflow, from raw material to finished fabric. During this internship, I actively worked across all major textile production and testing sections, gaining both factory floor and laboratory-based experience. Key Areas of Practical Experience: -Spinning: fiber processing, yarn formation, basic quality control -Weaving & Knitting: fabric construction, machine workflow, production coordination -Dyeing: dyeing processes, shade matching, process monitoring -Finishing: chemical and mechanical finishing processes, fabric inspection -Textile Testing & Lab Work: >Yarn and fabric testing procedures >GSM, count, strength, and color fastness tests >Understanding of testing standards and quality evaluation -Production Floor Operations: real-world manufacturing workflow, problem-solving, and time management This comprehensive industry + laboratory exposure strengthened my understanding of textile manufacturing, quality control, and testing standards.
