As a medical student and teaching assistant I´ve elaborated a Histology atlas-like study guide (in Spanish), with 213 pictures taken at the Histology´s laboratory at the health sciences school of the Universidad de Oriente, Venezuela.


The images in the atlas like study guide are from the following topics:

  • Osteoarticular tissue
  • Muscular tissue
  • Nervous tissue
  • Ears and eyes
  • Vascular tissue and blood
  • Lymph organs 
  • Digestive system
  • Annexed glands of the digestive system
  • Endocrine glands
  • Respiratory system
  • Skin


All the images has been taken by myself using a 14 MP Sony camera, from the histological cuts at the histology´s lab of the University, seen through Zeiss microscopes. Every image is explained (in Spanish) so you can study and memorize the basics of the histological tissues.


Used among students since 2018, it has been a usefull source of knowledge and a way to easily understand the basics of Histology.

I´m a medicine student, and I was a Physiology and a Histology teaching assistant from 2015 to 2018, and an anatomy teaching assistant during a year in 2014. Since I need to read many articles while studying I have improved my translating skills, being able to translate articles, videos and many documents from english to Spanish in short time. Where did I learn English? Since I was a boy I've attended English courses at many language centers, including Berlitz and most recently at ELS, at St Paul in Minnesota in 2011, spending 6 month improving my english skills.
