Do you sell classes, workshops or appointments on Shopify? Shopify was built for products, not seats and time slots, and that gap causes one problem: double-booking
Shopify reserves nothing when a customer adds to cart. Inventory is only committed at checkout. So two people can pick the same 3pm slot, both pay, and you find out when they both turn up

I am the developer of Trenoxa, a class booking app on the Shopify App Store. Capacity control is a problem I have already shipped, not one I will figure out on your store.

Do customers pay through Shopify checkout?
Yes. Bookings go through your normal Shopify checkout, with your existing payment provider, taxes and order flow. Nothing is handled off-site.
Can two customers book the last seat at the same time?
That is exactly what this prevents. Capacity is enforced per session, so a class cannot be oversold even on simultaneous orders.
Can I set up recurring weekly classes?
Yes. Sessions are generated from a recurring schedule, and individual sessions can be edited or cancelled without breaking the pattern.
Will this work with my theme?
In almost all cases yes. Send me your store URL before ordering and I will confirm.
Do I need a paid app?
It depends on your requirements. I will tell you before you order whether a paid app is needed and what it costs, so there are no surprises.
Can I manage bookings myself afterwards?
Yes, that is the point. Classes, times, capacity and availability are all editable from Shopify Admin.
