What do I need to provide to get started?
To ensure the highest accuracy, please provide a clear hand sketch, a photo of a similar garment, or a rough mockup. Include your brand logo (if applicable) and any specific fabric preferences. The more detail you provide upfront, the more precise the final tech pack will be.
Will my manufacturer be able to understand this tech pack?
Yes. I use industry-standard terminology and layouts that global garment factories (in Asia, Europe, and the Americas) are accustomed to. My tech packs are designed to be "factory-ready," meaning they contain all the technical data a production manager needs to start sampling.
Can you create a tech pack from a photo of an existing garment?
Absolutely. If you have a reference image of a garment you love, I can "reverse engineer" the technical flats and create a detailed specification sheet based on that design while adding any custom modifications you require.
Do you provide the actual sewing patterns as well?
This specific gig is for Technical Packs. However, as a professional digital pattern maker, I do offer pattern making and grading as a separate service or a custom add-on. If you need the .DXF or .PDF patterns, please message me for a custom quote!
What if the factory has questions after the order is closed?
I provide a Manufacturing Support Guarantee. If your factory requires clarification on any measurement or technical callout within my tech pack, you can reach out to me, and I will provide the necessary explanation to ensure your production stays on track.
In what file formats will I receive my tech pack?
You will receive a high-resolution, organized PDF master file for easy viewing and printing. Additionally, I provide the vector source files (AI/EPS) and can provide DXF if needed, ensuring you have full ownership and flexibility for future edits.
