FAQ
Do I need a finished PCB before you start?
No. I can write firmware against a dev board or an evaluation kit while your hardware is still in layout. If the board is not built yet, tell me and I will work on a matching devkit so the port is short.
Can you do the hardware too?
Yes. I design PCBs and write firmware as one package, which is usually cheaper and faster than splitting it across two people. Message me if you want both and I will scope it as one job.
Will you tell me my battery life, or just estimate it?
I measure it. Sleep and active current get profiled on real hardware and you get the numbers, not a spreadsheet guess. Most sleep current problems are a pullup left enabled, a regulator with high quiescent, or a floating input on a sleeping IC, and none of those show up in simulation.
