Joined when GuestGuru was an idea and a landing page. No users, no funnel, no positioning. My job was to build everything that sits between "we have a product" and "we have revenue." First problem: nobody understood what the product was. I repositioned it from a generic chatbot to an "AI receptionist" for short-term rental hosts — that single messaging shift changed the entire demand curve. Then I built the inbound engine from zero: SEO content, LinkedIn engagement, STR community presence, and CTAs built around demo bookings. No paid spend. Generated 4-6 qualified leads per week organically. Owned the full funnel — landing pages, email sequences, onboarding checklists, demo scripts, and ran hundreds of demos myself. Peak MRR hit ~$1.2K. Partnered with platforms like Hostaway, Guesty, Hostfully, and Zeevou on co-marketing flows that drove trust and distribution without ad budget. When churn hit 30-40% at month 4, I flagged it early, tied it to specific product gaps, and presented a retention roadmap. That prevented the team from pouring growth effort into a leaking bucket.
