I bring over 6 years of progressive experience at Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited (ZTBL), transitioning from core banking operations to a lead data-driven role supporting finance, taxation, and IT governance at the enterprise level. My career reflects a strong combination of banking domain knowledge, advanced analytics, and digital transformation. Currently serving as IT Finance Officer Grade-II, I function as a Lead Data Analyst for IT financial management, responsible for IT CAPEX and OPEX budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. I design and deliver SQL-driven Power BI dashboards for senior management and IT committees, providing real-time visibility into budget utilization, project performance, and financial risk. I work closely with Procurement and IT teams to analyze contracts, SLAs, and expenditure, while ensuring compliance with internal controls, regulatory standards, and the IT Governance Framework. Previously, as Tax Support Officer (Grades III & II), I led data analysis and reporting for Sales Tax and Withholding Tax compliance across all ZTBL branches. I played a key role in automating tax charge and remittance processes, developing Power BI dashboards to analyze indirect income and tax trends by region and period. I supported internal and external audits, tax reconciliations, and litigation matters, significantly improving accuracy, transparency, and compliance. Earlier in my career, I served in Medical Services and Branch Operations, managing financial reporting, claims processing, audits, and regulatory compliance. These roles strengthened my understanding of operational finance, controls, and reporting within a regulated banking environment.
