Pterodactyl is the best open-source game management panel, but setting it up with Docker, Wings, and SSL can be complicated. I am an experienced server administrator and a self-hoster.

Am i the right person? Depends on what you want to accomplish and i do run my own dedicated home lab with my own game server which runs 3 to 5 Minecraft servers and a CSGO server 24/7. I also run NAS and Proxmox as a prod server.
