#Halal Bros Cortlandt — Content & Social Media Manager **Role:** Content & Social Media Manager **Client:** Halal Bros Cortlandt (restaurant) **Scope:** Social media management, content creation, copywriting, local SEO/keyword research ## Overview I managed the full social media presence for Halal Bros Cortlandt, handling everything from content planning and creation to publishing and caption copywriting. Alongside day-to-day content, I ran keyword research to strengthen the restaurant's local SEO, aligning social captions with search-friendly terms that connect online visibility with real search performance. ## What I Did - **Content Strategy & Creation:** Planned and produced a regular stream of social media content (photos, posts, promotions) to keep the brand active and engaging across platforms. - **Copywriting:** Wrote all captions, blending brand voice with SEO-informed keywords so posts worked both for engagement and discoverability. - **Keyword Research:** Conducted keyword research specific to the restaurant's menu, cuisine, and local market to identify high-value search terms. - **Local SEO Integration:** Applied that keyword research directly into social content, helping tie social presence to broader local search performance. - **Consistent Posting Cadence:** Managed ongoing publishing schedules to maintain visibility and audience engagement. ## Key Achievement - **#1 Google Local Search Rankings:** Multiple menu items reached the #1 ranking position in Google's local search results, a direct result of combining targeted keyword research with consistent, optimized social content. ## Impact Summary By pairing consistent content production with deliberate SEO strategy, I helped Halal Bros Cortlandt strengthen both its social media presence and its visibility in local search — turning everyday captions into a tool for measurable search performance, not just engagement.
