FAQ
What does a developmental book editor do?
A developmental book editor improves the big picture: plot, pacing, structure, character arcs and clarity. You get an editorial letter and in-line comments showing what to fix and how, before any line editing or proofreading.
Do you offer manuscript formatting for KDP and eBook?
Yes. Standard and Premium include professional manuscript formatting, and print and eBook layouts can be added as an extra. Your book will be clean, consistent and ready to upload to Amazon KDP.
What genres and manuscript types do you edit?
Fiction and nonfiction, including fantasy, romance, thriller, memoir, self-help and children's books. Send me your genre and word count, and I'll recommend the right book editing package.
What should I send before ordering?
Message me your word count, genre and editing goals first. I'll confirm the best package and can start with a free 1,000-word sample edit so you can check my style before committing.
