During my time working with Joyce, my role was focused on creating social media content to keep our donors engaged and show the impact of their support. Essentially, I was responsible for telling the story of the preschool, show a bit about the students experience, the progress we were making, and how donor contributions were making a difference. I planned and designed posts for platforms like Facebook, Instagram, scheduling a few updates each week. I made sure the content was visually appealing, easy to read, and aligned with the preschool’s mission and voice. I also managed their facebook ads, email marketing campaigns and communication to parents and donors. I also worked directly with the Director to make sure all updates were accurate and highlighted the milestones and programs that mattered most to our donors. A big part of my work was showing tangible results, sharing stories, photos, and updates that helped donors feel connected and appreciated. I also kept an eye on engagement, seeing how people were interacting with the posts and adjusting content to make it more meaningful. Overall, my role was about using social media to strengthen relationships, celebrate progress, and communicate the real impact of the preschool’s work in a way that resonated with our supporters.
