As an AppFolio accounting specialist, I provide reliable financial and operational support for property management companies. My focus is maintaining accurate records, clean ledgers, and fully reconciled accounts to ensure clear financial reporting and smooth property operations. My work includes AppFolio bank and credit card reconciliations, where I carefully match transactions, resolve discrepancies, and ensure all rent payments, owner distributions, and expenses are properly recorded. I also manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), including vendor bill processing, tenant rent tracking, payment postings, and balance reviews. In addition, I handle Chart of Accounts (COA) setup and optimization to align the accounting structure with property management best practices. I also review tenant and owner ledgers to identify and correct discrepancies. Key tasks include bank reconciliation, AP/AR management, rent ledger review, vendor payments, trust account monitoring, security deposit tracking, and monthly financial reporting. My goal is to keep AppFolio accounting accurate, organized, and audit-ready, giving property managers and owners confidence in their financial data.
