I have experience working independently on both fiction and nonfiction manuscripts as a beta reader and editor. My work includes developmental editing, line editing, copy editing, and proofreading. I review manuscripts with attention to plot, pacing, character development, dialogue, consistency, clarity, emotional impact, grammar, sentence flow, and overall readability. As a beta reader, I focus on the experience of the reader and provide honest, constructive feedback. As an editor, I work more closely with the manuscript to identify areas that need strengthening while preserving the author's voice.
