Do you work with Traditional or Simplified Chinese?
I specialize in Traditional Chinese and natural Mandarin expressions used in Taiwan. If your text is in Simplified Chinese, please message me first to discuss whether you need proofreading or adaptation for readers in Taiwan.
Can you review my Mandarin audio recording?
Yes! I can listen to your recording and provide written feedback on pronunciation, word choice, and phrasing. Please send me the recording length and your goals before ordering so I can provide a custom quote. Audio editing and re-recording are not included.
How do you count Chinese words?
My packages are based on the number of Chinese characters, excluding spaces and punctuation. For documents containing both Chinese and English, please send me the file before ordering so I can confirm the price.
What will I receive, and which file formats do you accept?
For written text, you’ll receive a clean, edited version and a copy showing my changes. An editable Word document (.docx) is preferred for tracked changes. If you have a PDF, image, or another format, please contact me first.
