Will I still use WordPress to manage my content?
Yes absolutely. You will still log into your normal WordPress admin dashboard to write blog posts, upload images, and manage your content. The only difference is that Next.js will take that data and display it instantly to your visitors. Your day to day workflow will not change.
Where will my new Next.js website be hosted?
If your current server supports Node.js we can host the Next.js app right there alongside your WordPress backend. If you use standard shared hosting we will deploy the frontend to Vercel or Netlify. These platforms are incredibly fast and offer great free tiers.
Will all my current WordPress plugins still work?
Plugins that handle backend data like SEO or custom fields will still work perfectly. However plugins that change the visual design of your website like page builders will not work anymore since we are building a completely new custom interface using React.
How exactly does this improve my website speed?
Traditional WordPress has to talk to the database and build the page from scratch every single time someone visits. Next.js pre builds your pages in advance and serves them instantly as static files. This makes your site incredibly fast which Google rewards with better search rankings.
Do I need to provide a new design for the frontend?
