I work for a charity mainly recruiting volunteer mentors to assist with a number of projects we run. I, however, do also interview and select mentees for a number of projects as well. For a number of projects I oversee the timeline, am the point of call for mentors and/or mentees and will conduct information and check in sessions. I have consistently beaten my targets taking candidates for one project from 80 to 340 in the space of 4 months - I had a year to achieve this. I also contribute to team meetings and wider business initiatives, including away days and festivals. I have also initiated conversations for other future projects, researching, preparing and presenting how this could fit into our wider portfolio. As part of this role, I have advertised roles, screened cvs and applications, compiled interview questions, interviewed candidates, provided feedback to all interviewed candidates including providing outcomes. I have matched mentors and mentees and communicated this information to those involved. I have then run information/introductory sessions and regular check in sessions right through to the completion of the cohort of each individual project.

I worked with the Education team as a Candidate resourcer. Within my first week I had interviewed, vetted and cleared 3 candidates for work. During my time at Reed I was able to quickly identify, have an initial conversation with and interview a number of candidates. I cleared multiple candidates for work each week and then worked with the Recruitment Consultants to get them out to work as quickly as possible, which I was very successful at. I was working towards being promoted to Recruitment Consultant.

I worked with the HR Team on a temporary basis at a college in South West London. I assisted with vetting and onboarding new starters, creating and providing staff passes, updating payroll with any changes and dealing with leavers. I also carried out administration tasks such as filing, scanning and digitally storing documents, dealing with the team inbox and other ad hoc duties as required.
