Worked on existing AI voice agents that were functional but unreliable during real customer conversations. The work involved reviewing the complete system rather than only changing the prompt. I audited call recordings, transcripts, system prompts, tool configurations, function calls, webhook payloads, n8n workflows, API responses, CRM updates, calendar actions, transfers, and post-call automation. I also tested no availability, webhook timeouts, empty responses, existing contacts, interruptions, silence, voicemail, failed transfers, and unexpected caller requests. Developed an AI voice receptionist for a property-management workflow focused on tenant maintenance requests, issue classification, and call routing. The agent collects the tenant's name, phone number, property address, unit number, description of the issue, when it started, urgency level, access information, and preferred availability. Common categories include plumbing, electrical, heating or cooling, appliances, locks, general repairs, and maintenance follow-up. Routine requests are automatically recorded and passed into the maintenance workflow, while potentially urgent situations follow a separate escalation path so the AI does not attempt to handle cases that require immediate human attention. Using n8n, I built the backend workflow to: - Search for an existing tenant before creating a new record - Update CRM or Airtable information - Create the maintenance request - Categorize the issue and urgency - Store the call summary - Send confirmation messages - Notify the property-management team - Create a human follow-up task when needed I also tested multiple issues in one call, incomplete addresses, changing descriptions, previous maintenance requests, and transfer scenarios.
