Do I need services like Iubenda, Cookiebot or Onetrust?
Yes, in order to have your Advanced Consent Mode V2, my recommendation is to work with one the main CMP approved by Google. I suggest to use Iubenda, Cookiebot or Onetrust.
What you need to start?
I need access to your Google Tag Manager account and your CMP account (Iubenda, Cookiebot, OneTrust).
Consent Mode V2 is mandatory?
Yes, since March 2024, Google will be responsible if the advertisers are not respecting the new DMA Law. To prevent this, they will pause the accounts that are not compliant with Consent Mode V2. Consent Mode is mandatory for all the advertisers that are working in the European Economic Area.
I am not using a service from Iubenda, Cookiebot or OneTrust. I need to change it?
Consent Mode V2 can be implemented manually on other services, but I strongly recommend to use one of the Certified platforms to avoid any possible issues with privacy settings and data collection.
I am not sure about how my tracking is working. What I have to do?

why did we set consent mode v2?
It helps advertisers recover some of the data lost when users reject cookie, improving the quality of the bidding algorithms and measurement capabilities. It gives the ability to continue using Google Advertisement products including Google ads part March 2024.
