As the Lead 3D Sculptor and driving force behind production at Providence Studios, my role bridges the gap between digital art and high-volume physical manufacturing. Since we manufacture our own line of religious statues, saint figurines, and home decor items, I am hands-on through every single step of the pipeline—taking a concept from a blank screen all the way to hundreds of finished physical resin pieces ready for market. My day-to-day responsibilities include: Digital Sculpting & 3D Design: Sculpting hyper-realistic models of saints, figures, and decor completely from scratch (handling all anatomy, facial features, and clothing folds) and making sure they are fully optimized for clean resin 3D printing. Master Preparation & Molding: Taking our digital designs, preparing the print-ready files, and building the custom silicone molds required for physical casting. Manufacturing & Casting: Overseeing and handling the hands-on resin casting process—from small custom orders all the way up to large-scale production runs.
