Yes, guidance with cooking and nutrition tips for a healthier you. Starting with the basics!
What are your credentials?
Registered dietitian, chef, certified diabetes care and educator specialist with a master's in education and training. I completed an independent dietetic internship, creating my own curriculum with help from other nutrition professionals.
How many years of experience do you have in the nutrition/dietetic field?
I have 20+ years of experience as a registered dietitian. Hospital and long-term care, ICU, and university research studies. I am currently tutoring students for nutrition and cooking and have self-publish type 1 and type 2 diabetes workbooks.
What experience do you have as a chef?
I attended a 2-year culinary arts program. Since then, I have worked in restaurants and cook from scratch at home for myself and family.
What if I have absolutely no experience cooking in the kitchen?
No problem, I will help you get started in the right direction and feel more comfortable.
Can you help me learn how to eat healthier with no experience with diets and nutrition?
Yes! I will help you learn how to read labels, portion size, grocery shop, and much more.
What is included in a session?
Each session (online support or video) -whatever you feel most comfortable with. Let us start with one session (one hour long), see how you do. We will cover any information that you desire. Menu plan and recipes included. After the first session, if you feel the need for more, we can meet again.
