I’m a book editor and beta reader, and I work with authors who want their manuscripts to feel finished, not just corrected. Most of my projects start with a conversation about what the author is trying to say and who they want to reach. From there, I edit with that goal in mind. My services cover developmental editing, proofreading, book formatting and beta reading. On the developmental side, I look at the big picture: plot holes, pacing that drags or rushes, flat characters, confusing structure, and scenes that don’t earn their place. On the proofreading side, I catch grammar, punctuation, spelling and consistency slips, like a character’s eye color changing in chapter nine or a timeline that doesn’t add up. I work across fiction and nonfiction, including romance, fantasy, thrillers, YA and children’s books Christian books . Each genre has its own reader expectations, so I edit with those in mind instead of using one template for everything. The thing I care about most is protecting your voice. I’ll suggest changes and explain why I’m making them, but the book stays yours. My feedback is honest and specific, and always aimed at helping you improve the next draft, not just this one. I hold a B.Sc. in Creative Writing & Editing, and I work in English, French and German. I also prepare manuscripts for self-publishing, so you know your book is ready when you upload it.
