I’m an avid fiction writer, and the sort of reader who will happily lose an afternoon pulling apart exactly why a scene works. I love character-driven fiction, sharp dialogue, complicated relationships, strong emotional arcs and the tiny moments that make a reader care.
I have a particular soft spot for romance and historical fiction, but I loved reading all genres, including fantasy, cosy mystery and women's fiction. All I need to be happy is characters with something to lose, a story with something to say, and a manuscript you’ve become far too close to judge objectively.
