My name is Maciek Szczyciński. I'm an acoustic and electric bass player with twenty-something years of professional career both on stage and in the studio. I'm featured on a dozen of platinum records and several film scores. My credits list already extends over 100 and counting. At my home studio I have an upright, several mics that cover most of the upright recording scenarios and a selection of vintage and modern electric basses (Fender Jazz, Precision, Gibson EB2, Fbass BN5, Yamaha TRB5, and a few more)

Extremely pleased with the bass tracks and Maciek was very helpful and shared his expertise from the outset,I really appreciated Maciek feeding back before the project which helped me make a decision as to how to progress, super professional and the faulty of the final tracks were outstanding. Great work from Maciek, bass sounds powerful and full. Really adds character to my tracks. He understood my musical intent and added some flavour too. A few minor revisions needed (mostly because of lack of clarity from me, but these were done well and quickly).

Maciek took my initial sketch of a bass part and turned it into a refined performance that both respects the character of the piece and elevates it. He also added some improv work that suits the piece perfectly. A fantastic performance with excellent recording quality; thank you :)
