I write custom character backstories for TTRPGs. I take into account the game you'll be playing, your character sheet, the setting and tone, as well as the kind of arc you personally want to play out. If you have a full concept already, great! If not, you don't have to worry, I can work with something as minimal as a general vibe with a few rough notes.

What information do you need to get started?
To make things easy and ensure the best result, I recommend you provide a character sheet, the campaign setting and tone, the character's vibe, and any notes or ideas you might have, including arcs and themes. Existing drafts and anything you want to avoid are also helpful.
Can you work from just a short campaign summary and my character sheet?
In theory, yes, but I would prefer if you gave me at least a little something to work with. Even a few bullet points with rough ideas is immensely helpful.
Do you write for any TTRPG?
Yes, as long as you provide the setting and any crucial details for the system you're playing, I can adjust to any genre.
Will you avoid certain themes and topics?
Absolutely. I will respect anything a client tells me to avoid.
Can you rewrite my backstory?
Yes, I can expand and/or polish a pre-existing draft.
Can you incorporate aspects of my character sheet, such as spells and weapon proficiencies, into my backstory?
Yes, I'll already be using your character's build, class, background, and overall concept to inform the backstory. If requested, I can incorporate aspects such as weapon proficiencies and equipment.
