Payments that mostly work are the most expensive kind. A missed webhook, a double charge or a payout that doesn't match your records costs you money and customers.
I build payment collection systems that stay correct when things go wrong:
- Secure checkout using hosted payment pages, so card data never touches your server
- Webhook handling with signature verification, retries and duplicate protection (idempotency)
- Automatic reconciliation, so your database always matches your payment provider
- A transaction ledger and admin view: every payment, refund and failure is traceable
- Failed-payment and refund flows handled, not ignored
- Deployed and documented in your own accounts
I built and run PayLane, a payment collection platform for a private freelancer network, as a technical co-founder, so this comes from running a real system.
Best for: marketplaces, SaaS, agencies, coaching and membership businesses collecting money from many customers.
Not for: a single "Buy now" button. I'll tell you honestly if a simpler tool fits.

FAQ
Does card data pass through my server?
No. I use the provider's hosted checkout, so card details go straight to the provider and never touch your server. That keeps your compliance burden small.
Which providers do you work with?
Stripe, Paypal, Applepay, Paystack, and others. If you use another, message me first and I'll say honestly whether I can deliver it well.
Can you fix my existing, buggy payment setup?
Yes. Message me with what goes wrong (duplicate charges, missed confirmations, mismatched records) and I'll review before quoting.
Do you need my live API keys?
No. I build and test with test-mode keys. You add your live keys yourself at launch, so I never see your production secrets.
Can you guarantee no double charges?
No system can promise zero problems. What I build is designed to prevent them (idempotency, signature checks, retries) and I test it with simulated duplicate and failed events before delivery.
Who owns the code and accounts?
You do. The project runs in your accounts, you get the full source code and a README, and I remove my access when we finish.
