I am currently working in the News industry with State-run Pakistan television (PTV Digital) as a Journalist and News Producer. In this role, I am involved in news-related digital content production and newsroom-style editorial work. My responsibilities include writing and editing news scripts and articles, assisting in content development for digital media platforms, and supporting editorial workflows in a fast-paced newsroom environment. This experience has helped me understand professional journalism standards, accuracy in reporting, and structured content creation. Along with my regular work, I have also covered and written content on a wide range of recent national and international events, including the Pakistan federal budget, Asia Cup, ICC Champions Trophy, and major global conflicts such as the Russia-Ukraine war, as well as US–Iran tensions and India–Pakistan related developments. This has strengthened my ability to research fast-moving news and present it in a clear, factual, and journalistic style. I can also handle basic social media content management, including writing and scheduling posts for digital platforms. In addition, I have experience in simple video editing for news and social media content, helping present information in a clear and engaging format. Overall, this role has strengthened my skills in news writing, scriptwriting, research-based reporting, content editing, and digital media production. I am able to work under deadlines while maintaining accuracy, clarity, and professional newsroom standards.
