Can you format my manuscript or book for Amazon KDP, IngramSpark, or Lulu?
Yes. I set up every manuscript and ebook project to meet the exact specifications of your chosen publishing platform — correct margins, bleed, spine width, image resolution at 300 DPI, and the right PDF export settings — so your file is accepted on the first upload without rejection or errors.
What is the difference between a print-ready file and a digital file?
A print-ready file is exported in CMYK colour mode with bleed and crop marks — exactly what professional printers and publishing platforms require. A digital file is optimised in RGB for on-screen reading with working hyperlinks and bookmarks. I deliver both depending on your project needs.
My manuscript is in Microsoft Word — can you still work with it?
Absolutely. Most clients send their content as a Word or Google Doc file. I import it into Adobe InDesign and professionally typeset the entire document — applying correct fonts, margins, line spacing, chapter headings, running headers, and page numbering from scratch.
Do you design for both single pages and facing pages?
Yes. I work in both single-page and facing-pages format. Facing pages — also called reader spreads — display two pages side by side like an open book, which is standard for printed manuscripts, magazines, and catalogs. Just let me know your preferred format when ordering.
What page sizes do you work with?
I work with all standard and custom sizes — A4, A5, US Letter (8.5×11in), US Trade (6×9in), Digest (5.5×8.5in), Square, and any custom dimensions. If you are unsure which size is right for your project or publishing platform, message me before ordering and I will advise you.
Will I be able to edit the document after delivery?
Yes. Premium orders include the fully packaged Adobe InDesign source file (.indd) with all fonts and linked images included, so you or your team can make future edits. If you need the source file on a lower package, we can arrange that as a gig extra.
How do you handle revisions?
A revision covers any change within the original agreed scope — typography, layout, spacing, colours, or minor text adjustments. Adding new pages, new sections, or a completely new design direction is considered additional work. I always share a draft preview before final delivery so we resolve any
