During my internship, I gained hands-on experience in advanced GIS and Remote Sensing workflows, focusing on spatial data analysis, digitization, and flood hazard mapping. My responsibilities included: > Preprocessing satellite datasets (Landsat, Sentinel-2, DEMs) for hydrological and land-use studies. > Supporting flood hazard mapping for high-risk districts in Southern Punjab and Northern Sindh. > Digitizing, georeferencing, and managing spatial datasets in ArcGIS and QGIS. > Preparing thematic maps and reports to assist ongoing research at GSP.
