Back-office operations for UK mortgage processing in Pune. Two things daily: advance and advance-release confirmation calls with UK vendors, handled solo, and Memorandum of Sale data entry into a case management system. I list this because it is where the document side of my work comes from. Bad scans, inconsistent formats, half-filled forms and records where a wrong field has a real cost were the ordinary material of the job. It is also where I learned what a process looks like when it has to survive being handed to someone else, which is the part most handovers get wrong.

Taught computer science to diploma students at a government polytechnic in Kerala, across a full term. The reason it matters to a client: I can explain a technical system to someone who does not already understand it, at their level, without talking down and without hiding behind jargon. That is most of what a good handover, a readable runbook and an honest progress update actually are. It is also why I would rather answer your questions before you order than after.

My first engineering role, in Bengaluru. I supported automation and research workflows, and most of my work sat around OCR and data extraction plus the repetitive verification and research tasks that needed to be made faster and more consistent than a person doing them by hand. This is where the document extraction thread in my work started, and it is the reason I went on to build retrieval and document Q&A systems rather than something else.
