Which APIs do you support, and is integration guaranteed?
I work with documented REST endpoints that provide a usable test method, response schema, and supported authentication. Feasibility depends on the documentation, access, quotas, data shape, and target environment, so compatibility is reviewed before the order and is not universally guaranteed.
What API documentation and sample data do you need?
Please provide the official docs or a sanitized Swagger/Postman export, the endpoint and HTTP method, authentication type, a sanitized sample response, required fields, and known rate or plan limits. Without sufficient documentation and test data, I can offer a feasibility review.
Which authentication methods are included, and what about OAuth?
Basic supports an already-issued API key or static bearer token. Standard may also use an available Basic-auth test account after review. OAuth app registration, custom consent screens, refresh-token architecture, and complex provider approval are excluded from packages and require review.
How will you access my Google Sheet and API credentials?
Use least-privilege access to the target spreadsheet or allow a new test spreadsheet. Do not paste passwords or production secret values in normal chat. Prefer buyer-configured environment variables or a time-limited sandbox credential.
Can the import append, overwrite, or update existing rows?
Append and bounded overwrite behavior can be agreed before work starts. Updating existing rows requires one reliable unique key and review of duplicate handling. More complex reconciliation or multi-key matching requires a custom offer.
Do the packages include pagination or nested JSON?
Basic and Standard exclude pagination. Premium may include one documented paging pattern after review, limited to 10 pages or 1,000 rows for the agreed test. Nested arrays or complex normalization require custom scope.
Can the Google Sheet update on a schedule?
Standard and Premium include one basic schedule where the API quotas and buyer-owned runtime support it. This is scheduled execution, not a real-time guarantee, paid hosting, monitoring, or responsibility for future third-party changes.
Will I receive the source code and setup instructions?
Yes. Every package includes source code with configuration separated from secrets, setup and run instructions, field-to-column mapping, test evidence, and documented limitations.
What work is excluded from this gig?
The packages exclude undocumented or private API reverse engineering, scraping, API creation, complex OAuth, bidirectional sync, unrelated endpoints, complex pagination or normalization, dashboards, database work, paid hosting, monitoring, and ongoing maintenance.
What if I need more endpoints or the API is not feasible?
Related documented endpoints can fit Standard or Premium within the stated limits. Additional sources, destinations, authentication work, large backfills, or complex rules need a custom offer after documentation review. If the API cannot be tested safely, I will explain the blocker.
