Taught courses in many different subject areas, but mainly software development, game design and game development. - Introduction to game programming courses: teaching the foundations of programming in C#, working up from very minimal frameworks to game engines. - Digital prototyping: this course focuses on rapid prototype development, and leans on a faux "studio environment", so students can understand how stand-up calls, pull requests, and other industry standard collaboration techniques work. - Game systems programming: starting with the fundamentals of Tetris, and working up to modular systems, event driven programming, and finite state machines, this course levels students up to an informed systems approach on game design and development. - Java and C# programming. I have taught many courses covering both fundamental and advanced aspects of these languages, going from basic language syntax, all the way up to anonymous delegates, lambdas, runtime polymorphic programming, and so on. - Robotics, physics, control systems, IT courses, networking - many more courses. I have a broad base of knowledge that I teach from.

All of my game development and contract activities go through my company, Michael Jared Software Inc. I do a mix of working on paid contracts, open source development, as well as working on my own passion projects. - Software contracting in games and games adjacent fields. This include game systems programming, game optimization, custom plugin writing, pipeline code and pipeline setups - Write software for open source projects such as Blender (my biggest contribution has been the bevel "edge groups" functionality to bring Blender in-line with 3DS Max), Godot, and the Open Industry Project - Game development: I have worked on a number of game development projects, the biggest one being Bushcraft Survival (currently in development). - Grant writing, contracting, business management: I am the sole owner of Michael Jared Software Inc., so I have done a lot of work on the business side to ensure success - Plugin development for Godot and Blender. I have written a few very successful plugins such as the Blender-Godot Pipeline, and the UVR Baker for Blender
