Key Technical Skills & Competencies Gained: 1- IT Infrastructure & Systems Administration - Design, configure, and secure enterprise network topologies using Cisco standards. -Manage Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, policies, roles, permissions. -Operate and secure Linux systems, essential for SOC operations and automation. 2- Cybersecurity Key Chain & Cyber-Attacks Lifecycle -Gained solid understanding of cybersecurity concepts, attack methodologies, and threat behaviors. -Practiced offensive techniques and ethical hacking aligned with CEH v13, covering reconnaissance, exploitation, and post-exploitation. -Built a strong security mindset by simulating real-world attacks and analyzing their lifecycle. 3- Security Operations Center (SOC) & Threat intelligence -Trained in SOC workflows: incident detection, triage, analysis, escalation, and reporting. -Worked with SIEM tools to collect, normalize, and analyze logs from diverse sources. -Developed skills in use case development, alerting, threat hunting, and basic threat intelligence. 4- Digital Forensics & Incident Response (DFIR) -Specialized in analyzing and mitigating impactful security incidents using ECIR and ECDFP frameworks. -Conducted forensic investigations on Windows, networks, and web environments to trace threats and assess damage. -Applied structured response playbooks to classify incidents, mitigate risks, and report findings. 5- SIEM & Threat management -Operated industry-standard SIEM platforms: IBM QRadar and Splunk for log ingestion, parsing, correlation, and alerting. -Integrated Fortinet FortiGate (NSE4) firewalls with SIEMs (Q-RADAR -SPLUNK ) for centralized monitoring. -Implemented syslog forwarding, log format normalization, and custom dashboards for real-time visibility.
