My work involves extensive trend research, market and consumer research, R&D, concept development, creating mood boards, color stories, fabric and material direction, and establishing the overall design language of a collection. I develop design concepts and silhouettes, explore variations, refine designs, and build cohesive collections based on the identified theme and target market. I have hands-on experience developing prints, textile surfaces, embroidery, embellishments, motifs, and other garment details, including creating embroidery designs and working through their development for the final garments. I also work on print placements, repeats, colorways, and surface treatments to ensure that every element complements the overall collection. The process continues through design refinement, garment detailing, technical development, sampling, corrections, and finalizing the collection. I am comfortable collaborating with manufacturers and artisans to translate creative concepts into commercially viable and production-ready garments. My strength is being able to handle the entire design journey—from the initial research and mood board to the final collection—while maintaining a consistent design story, aesthetic, and attention to detail throughout the process.
