Content Writer

Content Writer 2022 – 2024 Two years spent writing across niches, platforms, and audiences will sharpen you in ways a single role never could. I've written across a wide range of formats and industries articles, blog posts, SEO-optimised content, product descriptions, web copy, trend pieces, and technical explainers. Some of it was deeply niche, some of it was broad-stroke content strategy, but all of it had a job to do: pull readers in, hold their attention, and deliver something worth their time. A big part of my work came through Content Writing Facebook groups, where I picked up freelance briefs from clients across the US, UK, UAE, and other markets worldwide. The variety was constant one week health and wellness, the next SaaS or e-commerce or lifestyle which meant I had to research fast, adapt my voice quickly, and write with both accuracy and range. You learn a lot about what actually performs when you're accountable to real clients with real deadlines. Alongside that, I've been part of a Digital Writing and Tutoring Platform community on WhatsApp a space where writing gets discussed, practiced, and taught. Being involved there pushed me to think more deliberately about the craft itself: structure, clarity, voice, and how to explain all of it to someone still finding their footing. Over time I developed a strong sense of what works what headlines pull readers in, which formats hold attention, when a tight focused piece beats a long-read, and how SEO and genuine readability can coexist without one killing the other. I came out of this period a faster researcher, a sharper editor, and a writer who's comfortable with both depth and range.
