The Mechanical BIM Designer is responsible for developing, coordinating, and managing BIM models for mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection, ensuring accuracy, constructability, and compliance with project standards and codes. Key Responsibilities Develop detailed Mechanical BIM models (HVAC, Plumbing, Firefighting) using Autodesk Revit and related BIM tools. Prepare LOD 300–400 models, coordinated shop drawings, and construction documents. Coordinate mechanical systems with architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines to resolve clashes and design conflicts. Perform clash detection using Navisworks and support BIM coordination meetings. Generate mechanical layouts, sections, details, and schedules as per project requirements. Ensure compliance with international codes and standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, IPC, NFPA, local authority requirements). Assist in quantity take-offs, equipment sizing, and technical documentation. Maintain BIM standards, families, templates, and project workflows. Support construction teams with as-built models and revisions during execution stages. Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to meet project deadlines. Skills & Tools Autodesk Revit (Mechanical) Navisworks Manage AutoCAD BIM 360 / ACC (preferred) Strong understanding of HVAC systems, ducting, piping, and plant rooms
