I've been a backend engineer for about 15 years. Focused on system design, distributed systems, and platform architecture. I build reliable services, dig into tough problems, and care deeply about making things work well at scale. I’ve worked across cloud infrastructure, event-driven systems, and internal tooling, always aiming to keep things as simple as they can be.
Most recently I was a staff engineer at a SaaS company in Tokyo. Day to day I work in Go, and I've spent plenty of years in Java and Scala too.
