Chi sono
I’m Nour Eldin, a developer specializing in robotics, embedded systems, and computer vision. I build solutions using Python, C/C++, ROS2, OpenCV, YOLO, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, and FreeRTOS. My hands-on projects include autonomous robots, object detection and tracking, motor control, and IoT monitoring systems. I can help you develop prototypes, integrate sensors and software, or troubleshoot existing code. I focus on clear communication, well-documented code, and realistic timelines. Share your requirements, and let’s bring your project to life.... Continua a leggere

Autonomous Robot with Lane Detection & Obstacle Avoidance

Mar 2026 - Jun 2026 • 3 mos

A Raspberry Pi-powered mobile robot using ROS2 and OpenCV for lane following and obstacle avoidance. The vision pipeline detects lane boundaries and calculates the robot’s offset from the lane center to guide steering. Camera, infrared, and time-of-flight sensor inputs support navigation and obstacle detection.

Retribot — Lost Item robot

Feb 2026 - Jun 2026 • 4 mos

Retribot is a semi-autonomous mobile robot designed to detect and locate lost items using ROS2, Raspberry Pi, ESP32-S3, and YOLOv11n. I developed the computer vision node using YOLOv11n and OpenCV to detect objects and provide visual feedback for robot navigation. I also implemented communication between the vision node and the web-based GUI, and connected the vision node with the navigation system to support object-guided movement. This was a team project; my contribution focused on computer vision and communication between the vision, web interface, and navigation components.

ESP32 Cartesian Robot (Automated Part Sorting)- FreeRTOS & Wireless Control base

Sep 2025 - Dec 2025 • 3 mos

An automated part-sorting system combining a three-axis Cartesian robot with a pneumatic pushing mechanism. The pneumatic mechanism transfers parts from a slider into the sorting area, where the robot sorts them into their designated locations. The system uses ESP32, FreeRTOS for concurrent task management, ESP-NOW for wireless coordination, and stepper motors for axis movement.
