My career in social work hasn't just been a sequence of jobs; it has been a lifelong commitment to the belief that no human being is a lost cause. When I look at my professional history, I don’t just see a list of agencies and caseloads; I see a moral map of the moments I stood in the gap between a person’s dignity and a system’s indifference. Every role I’ve held has been a laboratory for empathy, where I learned that the most profound work happens not in the paperwork, but in the quiet, radical act of truly witnessing another person’s struggle without judgment. I have spent years navigating the "person-in-environment" tension, understanding that the individuals I serve are often reacting to a world that has failed them. In my practice, I have moved away from the paternalistic "fixer" mindset toward becoming a facilitator of agency. My CV reflects a shift from providing mere charity to advocating for systemic justice. I view my administrative tasks as the essential architecture of care, ensuring that the rights and self-determination of my clients are protected against the weight of bureaucracy. Ultimately, my work is defined by an ethical resilience that allows me to hold space for others’ trauma while maintaining the clarity to advocate for change. I have learned to sit comfortably in the gray areas of human experience, knowing that there are rarely easy answers, only better ways to support a person’s inherent worth. My history in this field is a testament to my belief that by empowering the individual, we slowly but surely repair the fabric of the collective.
