Most "Shopify + AI" gigs are theme templates with a chatbot bolted on. This one connects Claude directly to your store's real data via the Shopify Admin API and Model Context Protocol (MCP), so it can actually answer questions and take actions based on what's in your store.
What this covers, by package:

What is MCP, and why would I need Claude connected to my store data?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) lets Claude read and act on your actual Shopify data — products, orders, inventory — instead of working from a script. That means answers are accurate to your live store, not pre-written.
Do I need my own Claude API key?
Yes. You'll get an Anthropic account and API key, and usage is billed to you directly. This keeps your costs transparent and means the agent stays under your control after I deliver it.
Does "headless" mean my whole store gets rebuilt?
No — the headless work in this gig wires up the Storefront API for one component or page (like a custom product display), not a full Hydrogen/React rebuild. A full headless storefront is a separate, larger project I'd quote after seeing your store.
Will this work with my existing theme?
In most cases, yes. I review your current theme and setup before making any changes, and test everything in a duplicate environment first so your live store isn't touched until it's confirmed working.
What's the real difference between Standard and Premium?
Standard connects Claude to your store data for internal use (you querying your own store through Claude). Premium adds a customer-facing agent your shoppers can actually interact with, plus the headless component work.
